Question Ford 9" Gear Richmond Excel vs. Allstar Performance

Which gear is better, both the same price, im looking for easy setup and not alot of noise (when setup right). Street/Strip Car, no transbrake to hit the gears hard. Allstar Performance gear set or Richmond Excel?

from what I have read from users of Richmond, is that they do generate noticable noise. I have no knowledge of Allstar.

Also look into Ace Racing gear. They are nicely priced and made in the USA. I haven't seen anyone try then yet so be a guinea pig!

I set up my Moser 9" and did the gears myself back in September. I used Motive Performance 4.11s, and it was dead silent until about 400ish miles. Last week I had a pro shop redo my center section and used Richmond 4.11s. I had noise immediately when I took it around the block and it was set up properly I inspected it plenty before I put it in. We will see how the Richmonds noise will hold up after the whole break in.

save your time and money, get a motive gear, really easy to set up and not known for making alot of noise, just picked a set up for $135 shipped
