Default U Joint size question?

I had a 12 bolt and a Denny's driveshaft in my 97 Z. I put a 10 bolt back in it and now the u joint caps are to large? Do they make a u joint that will fit in the Denny's shaft and then reduce down to the 10 bolt? I know they used to make one that you could do this for a turbo 400 upgrade from a turbo 350. Would this be the same u joint? Thanks!

Chevyman, i run a driveline shop in Fl. Give me the deminsions from the pinion yoke. And i'll give u a part number. Theres a ton of conversion joints. I'm guessing if you had a custom shaft built it has a standard joint either 1310, or 1330, both joints come with the option for a larger 1.125" cap vs the 1.062" cap.Or the 1350 joint that has an even larger cap. so measure the lock up on the yoke, inside to inside of tabs, then measure the saddle that the cap sits in. If the ten bolt diff was stock it should take a 3R series joint that has inside snap rings, so the pinion yoke will not have tabs to secure the caps. Hope i can help...
