Im going turbo on my Lt1 and wanted to know what is the best gear ratio too run...... A4 and will be shifting at 6000rpm have 4.10s on it right now..... best for 1/4 mile

It really is going to depend on your combination, but a typical range is from 3.08 to 3.50 for gear ratios for turbo use when street use is also factored in. Bob

im not worried about street use.. How would 3.73 work or is that to much for a turbo.. also have a 4000 stall and 27in slicks

3.73's will work but with a turbo you'll probably have a faster car with less gear. Bob

I think he's saying that he needs more info on the setup first. When I go turbo I'm planning on 3.23s or 3.55s, but thats a few years off and I really haven't really researched gears yet
