I have a 28 spline open differential 3 series and my 28 spline auburn 3 series has broken spider gears on the pinion.

Are the spider gears interchangeable?

I'm trying to cut down costs on the repair of my differential as I've chunked off maybe 3-4 teeth off the 2 pinion gears inside the differential.
