Deployaded and 12 bolt ?'s I have an 01 SS with a moser 12 bolt, 3.90w/true trac, 33 spline axles. The guy i bought it from was running a red/pinkish rear end dope (sharkbite i think it was called) anyways i flushed the rear and added a synthetic lube with no additives (valvoline stuff said it was made for limited/posi rearends) i read into the 12 bolt problems i.e. howling, clunking etc. and was wondering if flushing it again when i get back from my deployment with 80/90w would be better? any suggestions would help. its only being driven like once a week now by my dad while im gone but i was told that synthetic lube is bad juju for the moser and truetrac, is this true???
