Default Summers Brothers information

Have an opportunity to buy a Summers Brothers rear end, Don't know much about it but this is what the ad says. Is it worth the thousand dollars or should I just spend the extra 1100 or so on a strange rear end?. I just don't know how much work it would take to out this in my car, its a 97 z28. I thought third gens had shorter axles but they guy says it will bolt right up? There any truth to this? He said he had it in an 85 iroc. Thanks
This is the ad.

Summers bros 12 bolt will fit 3rd and 4th gen f- bodies camaro, Z-28, trans am or firebird. This is disc brake rear end wiyh custom torque arm. Has 3.73 gears and huge axles very well built rear end.Sand blasted and primed. Also

I have the same rear in my 89 formula, the rears ARE different from 3rd to 4th gens. it will bolt up, but you'll have to run one hell of a back space!
been their, done that! spend the $ on a S60 & never look back! Great rears otherwise
