Default 25-bolt rear-end ever created?

my friend is insisting that there is a 25bolt for the FBODY...we bet a pitcher of beer...

i told him that there is a 12 or for 9inch...


any other types of rears for the fbody?

I've never heard of that before! Your friend is smokin crack for sure.

I have 2 14-bolt, 1-ton truck housings sitting in my garage and there freakin huge! I seriously doubt you could fit one of those in an f-body.

the sum of the gear,cover,and the cross bolt = 25 bolt rear end(12 bolt rear)

10 bolt and a 12 bolt are the only widely used GM rear ends for the f-car. The 9" is used a lot, but is obviously a ford piece and the center section there uses 10 nuts since the housing is studded.
