Rear end problem I think

Rear end problem I think So lately I have been noticing that when I accelerate my 2000 m6 camaro I hear a loud noise that kind of sounds like tire noise......however the tires never made this much noise before....when I accelerate it's really loud and sounds like tire noise, however when I let of the gas the sounds goes away. So yesterday while driving on the street I notice my car starts jerking a lil bit and then I let off the gas and the sound goes away.....next thing I know the car starts jerking again and had to shut it down and be towed home......thoughts?
