Default Rebuild my 10 bolt?

I never intend on taking my car to the track. I never intend on putting slicks on my car and dumping the clutch. I need a good quiet rear end that lasts. My current rear end is on the outs. I want to do a 4.10 rebuild with Moser axles as I think one of mine is bent. I think with some new axles, the rebuild, and a good rear end girdle, I should get many miles of reliable use out of it on the street. Is this just a bad idea overall? I dont want to be rebuilding it but I dont want to drop 2500+ on something I might not need. If I can get 50k miles out of this 10 bolt rebuild, I'd be happy. Opinions?

I thought the first thing in the rear end sticky was to never put money in a 10 bolt. I kid, I kid Just get a stocker and throw it in if you aren't doing anything crazy. It would probably be cheaper than rebuilding it.

I know they are pretty weak. I'm not looking at big power. Im not positive on power level but the car will have an ls6 cam and ported 806 heads. This is a street car only. It's an M6 so a set of gears with the cam are in the plans. I'd put a sticker in there but how often do you find one with lower than 100k miles on it? Almost never... I can rebuild one completely for about 850$ with axles, gears, and all new internals minus te posi unit.
