Opinions please :)
Hellooo all,
Its only a matter of time until my differential goes out.
(Its starting to whine).
When it does go out, what would be the best gears or diff for a stock A4?
I'm also not sure if I'll be moving to a manual transmission or not when the trans blows, would it be ok to just swap to a manual?
I know that manuals are harder on the diff, and the manual diffs tend to go first.
Thanks!

Only way to fly with the stock rearend is a Eaton clutch type posi. Extrememly durable and rebuildable if it starts to lose bias. When you're in there put a solid pinion bearing spacer and if your budget allows install a LPW rear girdle cover.
Beyond this is getting questionable with what it will cost vs instaling a good rearend that won't have durability issues like our fabricated 9 inch bolt-in package.
