Default little help with tire size please????

f-body all bolt on car cam only , heads later. a4 car with 3200 stall and 410 gears.what is the tire to get me to the end of the strip 3rd gear max rpm???will a 26*10.5*16 et street work????

What's your rev limiter set to?

With a 26 you will might be hitting the rev limiter a 28 will work for sure but you might try a 27 I think they would work.

stock bottom end so should keep limiter setting factory???? do not want to hammer wheel welds for 28",got 16" rims so no 27" slicks????? the 26" et's i have are not used and if they will not work someone please steer me in the right direction please and thks. should have done more research on tire-rim for 410's,****!!!! any help thks.

I don't know that cam, so I'll assume you will be spinning your motor to 6400-6500. You should be fine with 26x10.5x16 ET Streets. Worst case you can get 27x10.5x16 ET Streets but I had a light bolton buddy going like 112mph with 4.10's and stock converter, and now he's going 11.3@116mph with drastic weight reduction, 4.10's, and Yank 4400 converter.

thks. psj , do they make 27" et's on a 16" and if they do i am gettin' the impression to go that way,i can exchange the 26" for 27" et's as they are new. thks a bunch!!!!
