Default Best gear ratio to work my cam?

Hey you guys with the torquer v3 cam, what gear ratio are you running? What's the best for the power band of this cam. 3.90, 4.11, 4.30? My car is a m6 that does see track time but also is a dd in the nice weather. Thanks for any input.

No one? Ive got 3.89 now. Was wondering if 4.11 or 4.30 would be better. Below 3500 rpm, its a little sluggish.

I have 4.30s with my ms4 28 inch tire. wish i went with 4.56s . barely use 6th gear because the cam is choppy under 2000 rpm and drives me insane on the interstate. but with the 4.30 gear its extremly hard to launch with out blowing the tires off on drag radials anyways.

My cam is pretty close to the V3 and I run 4.10 gears in my S60 with 26" tall rear tires. Seems to work pretty well for me. I get a bit of surging in 2nd gear around 1200 rpm, but with the gears, it is easy to get out of that rpm range. I will say that I like being able to cruise through town, 35-45mph zones, easily in 4th gear.

If I ran a 28" tall tire, I would probably go 4.30 for the street or even 4.56 if it was a track car.

Thanks for the posts guys. I'm just trying to tweak my setup and was wondering if it's worth changing out the gears and to what ratio. Also, would it be a waste of time to go to 4.10 from a 3.89? Would 4.30 be too much? I trap at 92mph in the 1/8 th around 6-6100 rpm, third gear. 26" tire. Rev limiter set at 6800.

I wouldn't worry about swapping from 3.89 to 4.10. Wouldn't be worth it vs. the cost to me.
