With 4:10 gears, how would it compare to 3:42 gears from 70-130mph?

With two cars with the same mods, would the 4:10 geared car be faster from 70-130mph or would the 3:42 geared car pull away?

I do lots of highway driving so most of my races are from a roll of 70mph or faster. Just trying to decide whether to keep the 3:42s or switch to something else.

4:10 is better for the drag strip from a standing start. For running from 70+ mph on the highway 3:42 is better.

My limiter is set at 6800 rpm and I hit it at around 128 in 4th with a 315 35 17 and 410s. If you need to go 130 leave the 342s.

Depends what your rev limiter is set at. But I can tell you blowing up my 3.73's and throwing in 4.10's completely woke up my car. It pulls harder at any speed.
