Ford 9" local deal worth it? Hello, I was looking at putting a 12 bolt posi in my s10 project, but came across a local add and was wondering if this is worth it.
For a 9" center section, 28 spline and 373 gears all rebuilt using Ford
factory parts, and ready to bolt on and use, is $1,150.00. Another $250 for axles, and said he could fill in the holes and drill/new studs to match the chevy 5 bolt pattern for an X price if I want him to do the work. No brakes included.
Seems like a good deal? My main question is what should I check for when I go to look at this, he said he'll have the cover off ahead of time.
I'm also in Canada where parts seem to be more $$ and less avaliable.
