98-02 LS1 Camaro & Firebird 10 Bolt Rear End Differential (7.5" 4 Channel ABS): This rear end is out of a 1998 Trans Am. Rear end appears to have low mileage. Includes GM 3.42 gears, Locker, ARP bearing studs, and TA cover.

You wont need a year specific rear as long as its for a 4th gen 1993 and up. I believe an LT1 rear would need the LS brakes/brackets swapped over though. Starting around 99 they changed to an all gear driven posi called a Torsen, some prefer it, and some prefer the clutch type Auburn that came before it. You do need to match whether the replacement rear is 3 or 4 channel for ease of installation. 3 channel is ABS only, 4 channel is ABS + traction control.

Do you have traction control? There should be a button above the radio if you do. Or you could look at your old rear end, or look for a traction control motor under the hood by the battery.

Never seen a locker in a 10 bolt, sure the seller isn't confused about what he has?

What an asshat, that's a stock Torsen posi that wasn't even available in 98 to my knowledge. Like I said, he doesn't know what he has. And yes it doesn appear to be a 4 channel.
