Default Lost ABS after rear swap -- need some help

My father recently swapped rears ends in his car after his was going out. His car is a 99 trans am and the rear was from a 98 trans am. Both cars were m6- only difference was his car has traction control, and the donor rear did not have it. After the swap he now has no abs, and clearly no traction control. We arent worried about traction control, but would like to get his abs working again. He wasnt aware that swapping rears with a non t/c unit would have caused this problem, or he wouldnt have done it. Is there something that can be done to get his abs to hook up an work again? thanks

to make functional ABS (&TC),the backing plates(with sensors) and axles from the original rearend HAVE to be put on the new rearend.
No,you can't have ABS without Traction Control in/on a 4 channel car.

The old rear is gone-- so i guess hes gonna have to find backing plates with sensors from another rear end. Can those parts be ordered from somewhere

The traction control car had 4channel with reluctor rings and ABS sensors at the wheel. The non TC car had 3 channel with the reluctor wheel and ABS center in the center of the rear end. The 3channel relutor wheel mounts to the differential. There is a way to convert the two. Check this out: https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axl...-3-w-pics.html
