cars finished finally but rear is still real noisy.
Cliff notes.. outer pinion bearing failed on highway. Dropped rear and replaced both pinion bearings.
When I put it back together backlash was almost .050. I put it all back as it was set up from strange. I adjusted back lash back to specs. Ended up with .009. Is it possible the bearings slowly failed and ruined my gears ? It was noisy from day 1 but now the howling is crazy. Only on accelertion and cruise if that matters. If my foots not touching the gas its dead quiet. I really don't wanna tear it apart. It's been down for 15 months for various things and life getting in the way.
