How do I install these axles?
I am putting a nine inch together with moser axles and the only axles ive ever worked with on a nine inch are floaters. I have the sealed roller bearing but I have no idea how I need to put these in. I cant see how anything would hold them in.
Thanks for any help

ok first thing is first, if you're using your original backing plates off of your 10 bolt take them and put them on the axles first, the backing plate should be marked L and R for left side and right side, the right side one goes on the longer axle for the passanger side, make sure you put the backing plate facing the right way lol, the emergency brake shoes should be pointing toward the axle flange, like a dumbass i put mine on the wrong way the first time and had to get a brand new bearing cut off, next the bearing itself gets pressed on and after that the collar gets pressed on right up against the bearing, do yourself a favor and get inner axle seals, they will be installed in the housing up against the inside lip, make sure you put them in all the way cuz the inside collar on the axle will rub up against it if not, the inner axle seals part number is #51098, get them from advance auto for like $6 a piece

ok to be clear since this is not going together in my head. If the wheel studs are on the floor and axles standing straight up I need the backing plate then bearing then slip collar and after that the seal is in the housing. Im not sure but it doesnt seem like that will allow enough roomn for the slip collar

My 12 bolt axles are likely very similar. Check out the pics I have posted.
