Rear End Gears. Hey guys I have a 99 Trans am with 2.73 gears, I want to switch to 3.73 gears. All of the rear end is stock, My question is, what all do i need to change the gears from 2.73 to 3.73 in the stock rear end. Do I just need the ring and pinion or everything? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

mph with which gears? im not sure which gears are in my car but the owner before me apparently wanted to go 300mph because when my speedo says 60mph the actual speed on my GPS shows 78mph. the faster i go the further its off. I am trying to figure out which gears to put in my 00 TA WS6 that are great for power but i dont want to cut alot of top speed off. I would like my car to be good for mainly like a 50-150 run. Do any of you guys have your gears top speeds written down?
my first gear peaks at just under 70 mph and 2nd gear peaks at 110mph
