Klunking noises
..installed a moser 9", sphon tq arm, panhard bar, and LCA's (all poly mounts) with relocation brackets about 2000km's ago.. but it seems that I've now developed klunking noises somewhere in the rear or tq arm. I have checked all the bolt-ups and everything is tight...I'm lost now.
Anyone else have this happen?

When I got a UMI T/A on my 12 bolt I had the same thing. My issue was that the T/A, where it mounts to the rear end housing, was hitting my floor pan. There was a clearance issue since the rear was bigger and whatnot. I would look underneath the car and see if that isn't the same issue you are having, just a thought.

I checked to see if I was hitting the floor pan, but thats not the case, I get the nosie when I get off and back on th gas...and when I am turning left or right at low speeds or starting to roll out.

i also get the same noise, just above where the end joint meet the rear mount for the TQ arm is where mine hits, i get it when i first move forward as well, i plan on dropping the tq arm and bringing out the bfh. if it helps at all, i did all the same poarts at the same time, just different brand names and a 12 bolt instead

I am getting a clunking noise in my 9" but mine is inside the rear, I think its a bearing or something, it only does it when I let off the throttle, its fine when im laying into it, now im starting to hear a little gear whine too

I'd go back under there and double check where the torque arm bracket or torque arm may be contacting the floors sheetmetal. Bob

pry bar and bfh has silenced mine, had to bang out the area on the floorpan just forward of the rear end and above the adjustment spots on the tq arm. after banging on it a bit and reinstalling the TA a lil more room was needed so the pry bar did the trick
