Default Future New rearend...Moser? Strange?

Just for future reference what would be the best rearend and gears to upgrade to?

I have 98 Camaro Z28 all stock except exhaust that came with it.

I will be doing LS6 intake LT SLP LM catback and probably magnacharger eventually. My horsepower and torque goals are 450-525hp and 450-525tq.

I've heard that 3.42 and 3.73 gears were good?

I just want a rearend that will handle that amount of torque so I don't have to worry about it ever again

There are several choices of rearends out there... you need to make sure you get the right combination of parts to serve your needs and future goals.

A4 or M6 car will possibly make a difference in what we suggest for you, but you need to look at all the options and compare apples to apples between the brands before you make your selection.

Strange offers a S60(Dana 60), and 12 bolt rearends. Moser offers the stamped oem style and M9 fabricated 9 inch rearends.

Midwest Chassis & Performance, Inc. manufactures the most popular bolt-in fabricated 9 inch package, and is a direct dealer for Strange, Moser, Yukon, Motive Gear, and various other suppliers. We can offer you the most options on any of these rearend combinations, and at the guaranteed best prices.

If your looking for a 9", MWC has the best deal for the fab nine with a torque arm.

I went with a S60.

When I was looking the S60 was one of the cheapest and was one of the strongest, though it's also one of the heaviest. Best bang for your buck unless you're really concerned with weight

Cool

Its A4. I probably won't break 600hp or 600 lbs ft/tq.

Just want something reliable and strong. Weight is not a factor. It won't be a track car.

Take a look at my shipped prices on Moser rears. Moser ships these rears out just two days after the order is placed. Your stock brakes will work. Bob
