Default LPW Brace kit installed

I decided sell my Moser and reinstall my original 10 bolt. I replaced it for the following reasons.

Never could get rid of the whine on decel.
Couldn't use my Sam Strano lowering springs because the Sphon TA bracket on the rearend kept gouging into the drive shaft tunnel.
I made the mistake of ordering it narrowed one inch of either side, so I had to use spacers whenever I mounted my ZR1's which was 99 percent of time.
I planned and built my Z28 with the intent to take it to the track at least once or twice a year - but haven't been back since 2007.
I found a buyer who wanted to buy my entire package of Centerline Warriors drag wheels, with MT skinnies and ET drag radials along with the Moser 12 bolt and a complete extra set of UMI and BMR suspension components. He got one heck of a deal.

But before I reinstalled my 10 bolt I did a few upgrades. I think that even at my power level (565 rwhp) and the way I drive and use the car (I'm 65), that the 10 bolt will hold up just fine. And if it doesn't I'll be sure to post back and admit so

Before I hung the 10 bolt back onto my Z28 I installed a Ratech solid pinion spacer kit along with the complete Ratech bearing kit. Since the car is overpowered for 3.73 gears I installed a new 3.23 Motive ring and pinion gear set. I also installed a Torsen posi replacing the auburn unit. I got a new one from SLP for $98 when they were reducing inventory after GM quit Camaro production in 2002.

It cruises nice now at about 2100 rpm at 65 mph, but it still has plenty of go-forward motion with the 3.23's for an old man

I wirebrushed the rearend and applied two coats of POR15.

I found a welder who had the jigs to weld my axles tubes to the rear end housing, but we elected to install an Ultimate LPW brace kit instead.

Here are some pics of the LPW brace kit after welding the tabs to the axles.

Some pics of my Z28 with ATI D1 SC installed by Bob at EPP (now Brute Speed). It currently has an FMIC with custom piping instead of the twin intercoolers as show in some of the pics. Plus I finally got rid of the overheating issue by installing two puller fans and two pusher fans.

Good luck, I hope it holds for you! Looks like nice work. Are you running stock axles?

Yes - stock axles. The buyer of all of my equipment mentioned earlier in post said I can have his Eaton axles. Whether they are any better than stock - don't know.
