Default 10 bolt broke this past week need some help

so like the title says, the ring and pinion, spider gears and posi all broke on me this past week. i popped the cover out came chunks of teeth and springs etc...lots of broken stuff. so i am looking to upgrade to a 9". at this point i am looking at quick performance. they seem to have some good prices compared to other vendors on this site. I cant seem to decide on what center section to go with. i know i dont want a spool since its a street car and i have been told to stay away from the detroit locker as well. so that pretty much leaves the true-track and trak lock. the trak lock is said to be good for 500 whp? well im at 440 now with stock heads and intake, so im guessing i should go with the true-track? input on this would be great. and also the car is a 2001 m6 with abs\tc. i have been thinking of deleting that as well. i never use the tc at all. i know i need to get the billet 1350 yoke. any info and suggestions would be great!!

yes after reading more and more that seams the way to go. i am actually looking at the s60 at this point. yes its heavier then the 12bolt and 9" but its a hell of a lot stronger and is cheaper then everything else. i was like looking at central racing parts who are a sponsor on here and are running a special so the pricing is even better. here is the link. http://centralracingparts.com/index....product_id=229
now i know since its such a beefy axle\gears its going to lose more power then a 12bolt and 9". does anyone know that differences between each rear end?

wow what an awesome article. after reading that it seems to me the s60 really is the way to go, unless i misunderstood? cheaper, barely heavier, stronger and makes the same power as a 9" and a little less then a 12bolt.

I dropped a few HP on my S60 (dyno proved), but it was worth every penny. I went with the s-track diff and 4.11 gears.
When I mean dropped, around 5 HP/2 lbs tq, I still did a 420 HP/391 tq. Not bad, I had some tuning issues, repaired some vacuum leaks, changed tunes from HP Tuners to EFI Live and couldn't be happier.

My S60 with 4.10/S Trac just came in a few days ago. Central Racing Parts, Carl is the best to deal with, you wont be disappointed. Many others on here can vouch for him as well. The price and strength cannot be beat. If money is no object go with a fab 9, but if your on a budget like I am, S60 cant be beat.

Yes, I am very happy. Very easy install...not as light as the 10B, that is for sure.

If you don't have the funds to drop right now, I have a 10B not in use...

Go with the truetrac. I ran one for 2 years at 540 to the wheels and i was not easy on it. It was very smooth and worked very good.

Anytime Carl, I never heard back from you, so I assume you got the backing plates in the mail. Thanks again for covering my mistake and making this all happen on time. Nice talking with you and answering my 246.3 questions...

have any of you guys done the abs\tc delete? im almost just tempted to leave it in the car now since its going to cost more to delete it. also what shock setups are you guys running? im leaning heavily towards the strange single adjustabls. i have the eibach pro kit springs they drop it 1.5 which i dont know how well works with those shocks?
