Default Will i run into any problems?

I recently purchased a complete rear end for cheap out of an m6 car with 3.42's and want to swap it into my a4 car that has 2.73's . Is there anything different between the two or should it be pretty straight forward swap? If there is differences could i just swap the carrier and gears out of th m6 rear end into myne?

There is a lot more to it. Swap out the complete axle assembly.
