Front hubs.. now rear bearings?!
So, iv'e been hearing minimal noises from the driver front hub/wheel bearings lately, and ordered a pair of timkens which i plan to get started replacing tomorrow. I believe if one is going out the other is soon to follow (plus 14yrs old).
ANYHOW, Pulling into my neighborhood tonight (Left Turn) there was a pretty loud "Pop pop pop pop" and felt it coming from rear driver side of the car. Now I'm pretty sure the diff is fine cause i just got the fluid changed and inspected it (only 1yr old internals) Also noticed a lot more road noise over the past couple months so I don't know if that contributes.
Any Input? Also what kind of ballpark price am I looking at in repairing those? (I don't ever touch the rear) -Colin
