Default Anyone get ABS to work on a 8.8 rear in there f-body?

I' m looking into building a rear for my car. 9 inch and 12 bolt are over kill for my needs. Looking into converting a ford 8.8 or 8.5 10 bolt, but would really like to keep my ABS intact.
Has anyone done one of these swaps and retained their ABS function?

If you can find an 8.8 with a 28-spline carrier just use the 8.8 center section, carrier, and your existing 10-bolt axles and axle tubes. Well, I guess you'd need to have a 4-channel ABS for that to work....

That does sound possible for the 4 channel. Unfortunately I have a 3 channel rear.
I have found that old f150 rears have a similar setup and the 90s impala ss has the reluctor wheel on the pinion. I'm wondering if after fabricating the rear to fit I could just splice one of those sensors into my harness.
Or does the computer look for a specific value?
Like if the reluctor wheel in the rear is a different size or a different tooth count would that screw me up?

Damn, my 8.8 had a reluctor wheel but I threw it away because I dumped my ABS. It's mounted on the ring gear too. Seems like I recall someone saying the 8.8 & 10-bolt reluctor don't have the same number of teeth so you'd have to have a special wheel made. Not a big deal though if you know someone who has access to a laser cutter or water-jet.

I hate to bring this one back up but has anyone figured this out yet? I have access to a water jet. But will the sensor work with Gm ABS?

Thanks for that one. I can cut the ring with 106 teeth and just use the gm sensor?

If you use the GM sensor just make the tooth profile matches the 10-bolt reluctor but use 106 teeth and it should work.

I'm in the same boat; need something stronger than the 10-bolt, but don't want to spend the coin on a 12-bolt or 9-inch, yet I want to retain ABS and need a 3-channel setup. If someone has achieved this, I'd love to pick up one of these. I've called some local machine shops, but they don't want to take on the project at this time.
