Moser used in 3rdgen...will these specs work on 4thgen?
Need to make a quick decision on a local sale. I'm mostly concerned with the torque arm mount and wheel stud measurements. I assume these are the long ones and need other than stock style lug nuts? Will this work on my 4th gen? Is it possible to add the 3 channel ABS?
Used on a 3rd gen:
Moser 9" factory 4th Gen length
Back Braced
31 Spline Axles
1/2"-20x3" Studs 5x4.75" pattern
Auburn Posi
Nodular Iron Center section
3.50 Gears
Billet 1350 Yoke
Welded on LCA relocation Brackets
No abs

The 4.75" bolt pattern is correct, and 1/2 studs will work with your stock wheels. These would be longer studs so you would need 1/2" open face lug nuts.
Retrofitting this rear for ABS would be possible, but not easy. Machining would have to be done to make room for a reluctor ring inside the center section. A hole would have to be drilled in the top of the housing for the sensor, so this whole deal is not easy to do. It would be best to use the rear as is and just not hook up the ABS. Bob
