What weight and brand are you using? I am thinking of going with 75W140 RP or Torco.

I just installed a moser 9 inch with a tru trac.... going to be using some cheap dino for the break in. After that I bought 4 quarts of Lucas full synthetic that I plan on using (unless someone posts here with a reason not to). I think if you add the proper friction mod, synthetic should be fine.

There aren't any clutches so friction adder shouldn't be necessary. Mine is already broke in.

Weight of oil sounds good. I was using amsoil in mine but the two step and slicks destroyed the unit.
