Default Are these gears setup properly?

Here is a couple pics of the gears on my 9". It is a yukon aluminum center with a wavetrac and 3.25 gears. Installed it this summer and drove it and broke it in. worked good but had a lot of gear whine at 75mph. This is a street car and as you can see in the pictures of how the gears wore, and the grease marks are still there.

when driving the car it only whined when under power, if you would let of and coast slowing down the whine would go away until the gears engage again. What do i need to change to get rid of the whine?

You're showing us the coast side. Is that a fresh grease pattern or the grease left over from original setup (sorry I wasn't sure what you meant). Yes, they really need to be replaced if you want the rear end to be quiet. Do you have a chassis mounted torque arm? Bc those amplify noise a ton.

That is the original grease mark from when they set up the gears originally. So that has been there for about 1000 miles. I was surprised to see it was there still.

So instead of adjusting back lash to get them quieted down, (was hoping i could just tighten them up) I need to completely replace the gears? Place i bought it from said i could send it back in and they would take care of it. Instead of spending the dough on shipping i was thinking of having someone local check it and adjust it..... Just wasn't sure what caused the noise bad gears or just improper setup?

Probably won't get rid of the noise since they are already worn in.

Considering the pattern is coming off the edge of the tooth it looks too shallow to me.
