New car, new gears, what are they? I shift into 2nd at 40mph, my car is stock except a exhaust, I bought the car as an automatic, all automatics ive driven have had the 2.73 gear ratio and i shift into 2nd at 50, this car I just bought shifts at 40mph, any idea what kind of gears i have, 3.42s or less im assuming? and did they make the 98 trans ams with anything except a 2.73 gear set up? A4 that is.
