moser 12 bolt reluctor ring not lining up with ABS sensor OK, problem has been like this ever since I bought the rear end used. The ABS never worked so I pulled the cover off and look what I found. Why does the reluctor on the posi unit not line up with the ABS sensor. The gears have a perfect wear pattern and are set correctly. WTF?

just a possibility but it could be the sensor was set up for a 3 series carrier and that is a 4 series carrier. what gear ratio do you have? the left side of a 4 series wider then a 3 that would cause the carrier to set farter to the passenger side. here is a link that might that shows the diffrence. http://www.strangeengineering.net/catalog/21.html
