Default Building it up.

Im looking for some good brand names and advice on building up and increasing the reliability of my drive train. Im getting my bearings in my rear diff replaced they went bad. But I want to make my rear end more reliable and leave plenty of room for future power increases. Im not sure if my LS1 is and LS6 block with LS1 bits and pieces so if anyone can tell me how to figure this out please reply.

Also how much power can an LS1 safely handle stock and then how much can it handle built up WITHOUT ALL forged parts and reinforcing?

My goal is 450 HP/TQ without swapping to an LS2

The factory rearend will work for a while, then there becomes a point where it is senseless to put any more coin into it. A lot of it depends on what transmission and what you do with the car.
