Default Anybody know much about 69-70 mustang 9"s?

My uncle has several 69-70 mustangs that I'm assuming has 9" rearends under them. Hes got a 69 mach1 (windsor car), 2 70 mach 1s (cleavland car), and a 69 coupe. I'm hoping he'll let me have a rear out of one of them (a few not worth fixing) but before I even ask about them I want to see if its worth the effort. Does any of you guys know what ratios/units would have came in these cars? I know I'm not fortunate enough to find one with 4.10s and a posi ?. The plan is to assemble a 9" on the cheap for my camaro using a Moser housing and some junkyard parts.

Good chance that they also may be 8" rearends too, so take a close look before you go through too much effort. If there are 9" rearends in the cars were most likely 2.75, 3.00, or 3.25 gears.

The best chance of anything descent for a salvage center section is a mid-late 70s 4wd truck or Bronco. Those were pretty common to have the 3.500 ratio and a track-lock posi unit, and possible even 31 spline, but most were only 28 spline.

Keep in mind here the oem 9" case isn't that strong, the axles will not even be close, and the housing will need to have the length/offset changed as well for f-body application. You know the drill already
