4.11s or 4.30s
So I got my new set up that's going to be in soon. I got a Tick Performance Polluter 242/244 112 LSA, ported 243 heads, 90mm/90mm, full bolt ons, & 100 dry shot which I'm thinking about converting to a wet shot & maybe doing 150 shot. Either way I'm wondering what would you guys recommend? I'm a M6 & got 15x10 RaceStars along with some M/T 275/60R15 ET Street Radial Pro coming in the mail. I think the 4.30s would be more aggressive for NA & the cam. But for spray maybe the 4.11s would be a better route in the 1/4?

I voted 4.30 with the 28s. A move from your current 3.89s to 4.10 isn't much.
These combos equal about the same overall ratio:
4.10 with 26" tire
4.30 with 27"
4.56 with 28".
At your old 351 rwhp 4.30s would be a good gear, how much HP are you expecting with the new setup? NA setups like more gear and a larger dia tire with a bigger contact patch and more sidewall will hook better than the smaller dia tires.

What RPM do you plan on shifting at? My buddy shifts at 7200 with his T-Rex setup and his 4.30s are nice with a 26" tall tire. With a 150 shot they would definitely be too short, but if you went to a 28" tall tire for the bottle, they would probably work great.
EDIT: I am assuming that is your car in your sig, that thing looks SO NASTY! Nice car.

Yeah I would go with at least 4.30s. On the motor it won't be as peppy as it could be but will go pretty good. I would do 4.30s if I were in your shoes, unless you only plan on spraying here and there, then maybe 4.56's. I would NOT run 4.11s though. Depending on your head/intake setup, you may want to shift higher though. 7000RPM is really not that much, especially for a big cam. Thru an LS6 intake my buddies T-Rex setup peaked at 6900, and shifting about 300RPM after your peak is right around your best bet. If you have not already, I would get some Katech rod bolts.

If you're going to spin it to 7000 then go at least 4.30 with a 28" tire. How fast do you plan on going in the 1/4 on the jug? That will dictate how much gear you can run. I run 4.33's in my car and it's perfect on the hose but it needs more gear on motor.
Also if you have dedicated track wheels/tires and haven't bought your radials yet, I'd highly advise going with a bias ply tire like an et street or hoosier qtp instead. Radials don't get along with clutch cars very well if you're going to want to launch it hard.

I think I'm going to get my set up installed then take it to the track & see where my car stands with the 3.89 gears I got now. Then Ill decide if I wanna do 4.11s or 4.30s
