shorten 9inch in fbody question

Default shorten 9inch in fbody question

Well I got a deal of a life time on a new 9inch for my trans am, the only thing is it is shorten 3 inches on each side, will I have to mini tub my car to fit 18x12 wheels, I have not ordered the wheels yet so if someone can also recommend what offset to get also that would be great, thanks

You will be in the -10 to -15mm range with a 3" narrowed rear and a 12" wide wheel I believe. -15 will be pushing the outside limits past the fender.

if you get a 4.5 backspace you should be fine, should set up like stock then... but with bigger wheels and tires
