Question Too much hp for stock 10 bolt to Launch with 315 DR's?

As mentioned in the title, Im running a nitto 555R 315/35r17 drag radial. I also have a stock 10 bolt with 3.73's and will be making 440-460whp. I have a Yank Pro Thruster4000 converter as well. Now, I've read SOMEWHERE on here that some people were grenading 10 bolts under stock hp. So my question is this...

How should i leave when i see GREEN so that i do not mess up my rearend?Should i only rev to a certain rpm or just ease into the throttle till like 2nd gear or something?

If this is the wrong place to post this question, someone please re-direct me to the proper. And a 12 bolt or 9" is out of the question untill the end of the year.

Thanks

Depends on how violent of a hook you get. A 10 bolt behind an auto can hold up for quite awhile, its when you get into violent 6 speed situations that things go south.

I have no clue how its going to hook up... Should I Start off by launching at low rpms then Gradually raise them after each race?

Never let a crisis go to waste, the sooner you destroy that 10 bolt...the sooner you upgrade to a 9 inch or 12 bolt

seriously tho, which way would you lean; 9 inch or 12 bolt? the more I read the more I'd lean to a 9 inch, but knowing me - price would weigh on my decision

Not to get off topic but, I'd personally go with the 9"... A Moser 9"... not a Ford 9"... That's how i like to think of it LoL Look up Moser 9 inch vs. Moser 12 bolt on here. Good thread
