Default Build a rear for the street?

Kinda getting the bug to rework my 00' Trans Am..

She is pretty basic right now. Heads/cam/stock 3.42 rear with a Vig 2800.

I'm thinking about throwing a new cam, Torquer V2/3 and was thinking about going with some 3.73 gears.

I've had the heads/cam since 07' and have only hit it from a dead stop two or three times.. I like running from a roll.

So.. It'd be cheaper for me to go with some new gears, rather than an entire new rearend.

Anyone with some suggestions?
