What does it take to install longer wheel studs?
I did a search but maybe searched the wrong stuff.
I'm looking to purchase some wheels for the camaro that require a 1/2 spacer.
Do I need to pull the axles? I'm pretty sure I only need them in the rear.
Any info and links to a quality set of studs would be great.
Thanks!

Well, when i bought my SS in july, one of the wheel studs was stripped and had to replace it. Not a fun time but i got it done.Couldnt imagine changing out all of the studs that way. I took a 5lb lead hammer to knock the old stud out then place the new stud in and put 2 closed ended wrenches and pull the stud through while tightening the lugnut.

Without pulling the axles about the only way to get the out is with BF hammer.
To pull the new studs place a couple of lagre washers on the new stud then put a lug nut on, oil everythin up real good, and you can pull it in with a impact wrench.
As far as studs are concerned I use ARP.
Good luck
