Default Differences between LT1 and LS1 driveshafts

As the title states, any differences between the two driveshafts? Have a buddy with a '96 Camaro that could use a aluminium driveshaft, will they interchange?

Yes. I stuck my '98 M6 aluminum driveshaft on to my '94 A4. No problem.

Same fitment b/t all the years, just a material difference -- i.e. steel, aluminum, as well as a diameter difference -- I think they have 2.5", 2.75", 3" as factory ones.
Now the V6 ones were 2-piece with a center support bearing. I'm glad I ditched that!
