It's pretty much Strange or Moser.

Check out Tbyrne, Billingsley, SpeedInc, etc. --->
There's occassional group purchases.

Now i dont know much about rear ends but why would ya go with a 12 bolt instead of a 9"? They seem to be close in price but you hear of people breaking the 12 bolt while the 9" seems to be pretty tough. What are the disadvantages and advantages of the two. I will be getting one of them soon so i need to know.

you get more drivetrain loss with a 9", some are heavier, they used to make the car sit higher, and for those who care, its made by ford. if i had to do again, id get a 9" for the abuse i give rears with 6000+ rpm dumps. on a auto a 12 bolt is better.

9" is heavier, and I lost 10rwhp due to it's parasitic nature. Trade off is that it's damn strong. In the end, I'm running the same ET and MPH with the 9" as I was with the 10 bolt. I have yet to put on stickies- that's when the insurance of the 9" will pay off.

So does your car sit higher in the back? I just dont want to spend all that money and then break a 12 bolt.

Sits about 3/4 to 1 inch higher. Not a Starsky & Hutch kind of lift if that's what you're worried about.
