Default Broke drivers axle Torsen

01 SS, stock torsen with 3:42's. Snapped drivers side axle on launch. A few questions:

Can someone point me to a video or steps for getting the broken part out of the diff and replacing the axles? Does the carrier have to be removed, or can this be done with the carrier in place? Is it possible to push through from the passenger side to get the broken stub out? I see opinions vary on this.

I just want to replace the axles with something a bit better, any recommendations? They are currently stock with the rel rings pressed on.

I know I can pop in a 12 bolt or 9 inch, but don't want to go this route just yet. I just want to replace the axles and get it moving again since the gears and everything else look ok.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Default

you SHOULD be able to do it. remove torsens' paddle bolt and paddle, remove both c-clips,remove passenger side axle, push drivers' side axle stub with a long enough rod.
