Default Drive side LASH. Experianced Rear End Mechanics Please HELP!!!!

I did a search and found 1000 posts about everyone that has a whining rearend, but I couldnt find the answer to my specific question. so If you all could please comment I would appreciate it.

If I have gear whine under exceleration (Drive side of the ring) doesnt that mean I either do not have enough Lash in there or the pattern is just WAY off? Which is more likley,

I know some of you think that noisy gears are a part of F-body life but I dissagree. It can be radified with proper setup!!!! Please help.

Cheers

If you're back lash is correct, and you're sure of it, then your pinion is too far out or in. What did the pattern look like? Are you running close to the toe? If so, your pinion is too far in.

If it whines on acceleration, then you need to remove some shim from the pinion, as long as the gears are ok and not badly worn.
