Squeak from new gears ( I know its normal that they're louder!) Just got my motive 3.73s installed in my 99 z28 A4-
-when I was driving home I heard squeaks coming from the rear end going from 50- 80 even over smooth surfaces -but only while driving in cruise control.(These squeaks were in addition to the expectedly louder than factory gears.)
They happened sporadically when I was driving in cruise control but I couldn't hear them over the exhaust when it wasn't in cruise control.(because of the constant deceleration and acceleration on the highway)
Would cruise control be causing these squeaks?
Could this have something to do with the gear spacer? (I went from 2.73s to 3.73s)
