Strange S60 gears change
I have a 2000 ta 6spd car with the strange S60 in it with 4.10's this spring I will be swapping the car over to a 4l60 and I know the 4.10's will be great at the track but on the road it will be turning really high rpm's especially on the interstate. What would be the best all around gear ratio to change it to? The 2 options I have are 3.54 or 3.73 the car Is cammed and it will have between a 3600-4000 stall in it just trying to get peoples opinions on what is the best to go with.

I'm running 3.73s in my s60 with a yank 3600ss. I've gotten some decent mpgs out of it so far. I drove 4 hours round trip the other day and got 18.69mpg going 80mph the whole time. I think it was around 2700rpm at 80mph

Depends on how much interstate driving you do, 3.73 with a 60E is still turning some RPM on the interstate. GM designed most cars and trucks to turn about 2000 RPM at 70 MPH. With 3.73 you will be turning around 2400 RPM at 70 MPH. 3.54 will be about 2100.
