Default 2.73's to 3.42's

I was wondering if I need to change the tune if I swapped gears out. I'm not worried about the speedometer being out of whack, just wondering if the transmission will act differently? Any suggestions?

This is going on a 01c5 vette with a 4l60 trans.

Tune needs to be changed, mainly your shift points.

I did this swap a few years back, just rolled one rear out and rolled the other back under. I really enjoyed the way the responded. It only had a few little upgrades at the time.

I used EFILive to change the gear ratio and then adjust the shift points.
