Default Moser 9" loud clonking

I have a moser 9" with a 35 spline axel and it makes a loud clonking noise going around turns and almost feels like when I'm going straight from a stop for a second

What carrier is in the 9 inch?

Lockers will clonk going around corners, it's normal. Most others should not.

If it is a street car you should not use a spool.

The spool will do that as both axles are forced to turn the same amount of revolutions. It shouldn't hurt anything other than extra wear to the rear tires. Bob
