To the OP, I've done both 3.90 and 4.10 in the 10-bolt and prefer the 4.10s on the street but prefer the 3.90 on the track (road course).

That being said, BOTH are a nice upgrade from the stock 3.42's. Your tire selection will also become important if you expect traction at WOT in first and second gear.

Im currently on 315/35r17 and 275/40r17 nitto 555. Just out on like last week.

can anyone answer if the revised pinion seal can be reused? put one in not to long ago when dealing with a leaky rear. I'd like to use it again if I could when having the gears installed.

^^^It's your rear you can do anything you want but it makes no sense to re-use the pinion seal when replacing the gears. Seals don't cost much compared to the effort to replace it after the fact. If a shop is doing the work they will not re-use the seal.
