Default Different from 3 channel and 4 channel

What's the dif. I have a strange 12 with 4.30 gears and abs and traction control

I don't know about the strange 12, but I'm speaking from a stock 10 bolt.
3 channel means you have just ABS
4 channel means you have ABS and Traction Control.

In both systems, your front wheels have speed sensors. In a 4 channel, you'll have a speed sensor behind each of the rear wheels (a sensor at each of the 4 wheels = 4 channel). The axles themselves have a reluctor ring - look at the "With TCS" in this pic.


In a 3 channel, the rear axles don't have the reluctor ring, but the reluctor ring sits on the ring gear inside the diff (check the pic below). There's a speed sensor mounted to the top of the differential. You can kind of see it in this pic. It's the little black thing on the top of the housing.
