Should i trade my 10 bolt for a 9"?
A good buddy of mine is in need of some money. He has a 9" in his fbody and I of course still have this horrible 10 bolt. He said he will trade my rear ends and throw in the torque arm and lower control arms. But i have to throw in 1000 dollars. Question is, am i getting a good deal or what?

Yeah i get the tubular rear control arms, pan hard bar, torque arm swap, and his shocks. Im not sure on the specs, what exact specs are we talking about? Sorry i don't know much about rear ends or anything. Thanks for the replies guys.

If everything is in good working order and your wanting a 9inch I would go through with the deal. Even if the center section is not exactly what your looking for you could swap it out down the road. Maybe call a vender and they could give you the best advice.

Yeah, I'd make sure that it's not something that you can't use, like out of a '66 Bronco or something - but if the housing is correct/workable - even if you can't use anything else with it - I'd jump on that like a Rottweiler on a ribeye...

If most of your driving is rural or highway, you'll seldom notice you have a spool back there.
