Question Filling a 9" with oil

My 9" (lol) has a drain plug in the bottom, a drain plug in the side of the centersection (both 3/8" drive) and a filler hole (?) on the back of the housing. I'm assuming I fill it to the hole on the side of the centersection and not the hole on the back of the housing?

The hole on the driver side of the case is the level hole(fill to when it just starts to run out of it), and you can fill through it as well. The extra cap on the rear is just for added convenience to fill with only.
